Quiet Day

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Today has been a very quiet day. The biggest thing I accomplished was doing laundry.
I really like quiet days like this. I guess it comes with being an introvert. Some folks might think I'm a hermit but it's really more than that for me. Days like today help me to recharge my batteries. These are days to rest, relax, and renew. They are days to catch up on my Netflix, read, and sneak in a nap.
I am grateful quiet days like today that help to restore my soul and body.
