Responding to Great Need

Along with the world, I continue to feel overwhelmed by the aftermath of the earthquake in Japan. It makes me grateful I do not have cable television or I would be doing nothing else but watching the non-stop coverage. The articles I've read online have caused my heart to break.
All I know to do is to pray and to give. I am grateful for the United Methodist Committee on Relief that is already making plans to help those devastated by the disaster. I am thankful that my gifts will help bring a cup of cold water to those who have lost everything in life.
I read this article about what United Methodists are doing in Japan and beyond to make a difference in the name of Christ.

I invite you to continue to join me in praying for all those impacted by the Japan earthquake.
Thank you for your prayers and for being a part of my journey!
