UCLA guard Malcolm Lee left school to enter the NBA and plans to hire an agent, he declared not entitled to recover for his last year.
Lee said on Tuesday it is immediately removed from the school.
He averaged 13.1 points, the second best team with 3.1 rebounds this season. He was selected first-team All-Pac-10 and the entire league, the defending team.
Lee shot 44 percent on the field, 29 percent 3-point line and 78 percent of the line.
He joins Tyler Honeycutt seconds to declare for the draft, continues a trend from UCLA in which 10 players were developed in the last seven years as coach Ben Howland.
It's a very difficult time for these children this year will be based on the risk of constipation and how it affects the project, said Howland.
He said that Lee was projected as a second round pick. Lee had knee surgery three weeks ago and with the possibility of a lockout and the state projected a runoff, Howland said he told Lee and his family that he return to school.
I was in their interest, said Howland. Malcolm knows that is a good player and he really wants to act on this now, and I must respect that.
Howland said Lee wants to move to Las Vegas and the training started before the design and rehabilitation centers of the knee.
