Cake Pops for Beginners
I am NOT known for my baking skills in the kitchen! But, I have always wanted to learn how to make cake pops. Cake pops also happen to be one of the most difficult things to bake. (Not after this recipe!) After a few failed attempts, I finally found a foul proof way to create these delicious treats that will convince my family that I’m a pro!
Ingredients:
- Desired flavor of cake mix
- Cream cheese frosting
- Cake pop sticks
- White chocolate
- Milk chocolate
- Bake any cake with regular instructions (I recommend strawberry flavored)
- After cake cools, use your hands and crumble it up in a large bowl.
- Mix in about ½ of the can of frosting.
- Roll the mixture into quarter-sized balls, and place on wax paper.
- Cover the ends of the cake pop sticks in melted white chocolate, and put them halfway into the rolled cake balls.
- Place in fridge until the white chocolate hardens.
- Once hard, gently roll the entire cake pop in melted white chocolate.
- Allow them to harden in the fridge again.
- Once hard, drizzle melted milk chocolate on them, and place back in fridge to harden for the last time!
