Dwight takes flight: the end of Kingdom Howard of Orlando in 2012

With the NBA playoffs approach, the seed of the playoffs in the Eastern Conference are almost set.

Chicago is likely to remain with the No. 1 seed. Miami or Boston, two and three slots, and Orlando has locked room.

It is difficult to someone other than the four teams go into the NBA Finals to present to the east. In the broad shoulders of Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic are trying to make his third consecutive appearance in the conference finals and the second NBA Finals appearance in three years.
The race in Orlando with D12 is a success so far, however, was not the final goal achieved, but how long Howard tried to stay in town?

Should I stay or should I go?
With LeBron James made the decision last summer to take his talents to South Beach, it is expected that Dwight Howard is the way to James and Orlando in the summer of 2012 was to follow.

First, it is inevitable that Howard can pin in 2012, step back from his contract. Some claim it is as good as gone to Los Angeles like Shaquille O'Neal in 1996.

However, Howard does not try, movies and rap albums that Shaq was for sale.
This is not a fate that will not re-sign with the Magic. Although the program was recently discovered that Jimmy Fallon to stay and to call Orlando a beautiful city, there is a possibility if you're Howard's team did not leave a good opportunity to compete for a championship.

For the sake of argument, we agree that Howard really wants to stay in Orlando and re-sign when he soon this dispute or fight for the title of the view.

The question then is whether the Orlando Magic can really compete for a championship with their current staff.

No one knows for sure, but from what I seen so far this season, the answer seems to no. While the Magic are still a team to beat anyone in the NBA in a night that you do not seem to lose the elite team with some consistency.

Too many mental errors. Not enough effort on the defensive. Sloppy and careless.

Orlando's defense, which renewed its campus in the month and a half into this season. Chemistry and cohesion takes time and if you're in the playoffs is a strong team with Superman strength of the low post to beat.

It's just hard a blow back when the switch is not turned against the elite competition.

The range consists of Orlando the greatest man in the league surrounded by role players, with one or two people from the B-list could make a game more if necessary, Jameer Nelson and Jason Richardson.

Orlando also has the third highest payroll in the league, to 89 million. In this third in the settlement are 11 of the 13 players on the list under contract for season 2012-13. Only Malik Allen and Jason Richardson are not under contract with Orlando in 2012.

This means that space is linked to the players Orlando's top of the poll.

The Magic have committed more than $ 75,000,000 for the season 2012-13. Topping the list of the classes are not named Howard Gilbert Arenas and Hedo Turkoglu.
Arenas makes almost $ 21,000,000, while Turkoglu wins $ 11.4 million.

With more than 32 million U.S. dollars for two players to give Orlando a combination of 19 points in 55 minutes per game so far in 2011.
It is not for a championship in supporting the team enough.

Factor Arenas shot 33 percent, the issues of ongoing knee and bad decisions, with a slow 32-year-old, Turkoglu, and probably the duo in the league's most overpaid come 2012th
And decisions of courts of wages, the Orlando Magic needed no cap room, a free agent character (or both) that match and exceed more than likely that the production of Arenas and Turkoglu.

To invest $ 32,000,000 in the obstruction of the ceiling, and just add a higher level agreement to pair with Dwight Howard. Deron Williams is a free agent and Chris Paul was in his contract in summer 2012 and to withdraw to a free agent.

Did anyone see Howard CP3/D-Will pick and roll almost as unstoppable?

While Orlando has won the cap space elite free agent such as Paul Williams and come ball with Dwight Howard, I think it would be hard to sell. No state taxes in Florida.

And then the money the owner wants to play with a big man like Howard. Teresa game called Go Get It on the pick and roll, and Dwight is one of the best in the game itself.

Chris Paul Tyson Chandler was a monster in 2008 with this game

A business and trade secrets would be a possibility, as Turkoglu Orlando proved two years ago, than to condemn it, it would look ridiculous. The same salary that you pay to buy it.

The problem, of course, get rid of this money. Arenas has another three years 60 million dollars, because, Turkoglu has left over three years and $ 43,000,000.

Who wants to be in this frame of time and money?

Do not be too many teams knocking on the door, except that essentially give Turkoglu Orlando Arenas or expire for a much smaller player with a contract.

Sound, or with the same team they have now run for the next 2-3 years. And sand banks and Turkoglu to your X-factors, and Jameer Nelson seriously for the championship fight and keep Howard.

Orlando can fail temporarily, before they can fly?

Miami has a similar approach in 2009-10 and slid in the regular season with a decent talent and a star player Dwayne Wade. The heat was 47 to 35, before losing in the first round 4-1 in Boston before the signing of LeBron James and Chris Bosh in the low season.

It is believed that Wade remained in Miami took the heat not to sign or Bosh or LeBron? It seems very unlikely Wade returns with a yield of 11 programming 13 players from 2009/10 to help heat gave him little.

If Orlando does not enter into a serious career in the NBA playoffs, they must reduce costs in the off season.

If you want to get Dwight Howard and realistic contender for the championship, a year granted even say they are fighting for a championship.

Reducing the salaries of the 2011-12 season at any price, and collect as many expiring contracts as possible. Coast of the regular season and hopefully a grain of the middle and late in the playoffs.

With this, you have come to the necessary space at the head of an elite free agent and play with Dwight Howard in Florida and the Magic probably be more realistic to win a championship win.

General Manager Otis Smith, the coach Stan Van Gundy and to stay with her staff? Or is it the pay cut to a top player to bring with Dwight?

One thing is sure: none of these issues can be heated when Orlando in the playoffs.

As bad as the Magic have played at times this season, are in a position to play against any team in the league in a series of seven games on your best game

The great part is that we sit the next two months, watching and learning during the NBA playoffs is to have.
