Barkley, Dilfer: Owners will win NFL, NBA talks

Former NFL and NBA Quart Trent Dilfer Hall of Fame, Charles Barkley said the players union took the owner of the cleaners in his time and now the current crop of billionaires, you are probably the price in terms of givebacks or lockout real danger, increased their regular season.

I see no way for the players (NFL) beats the direct negotiations,  said Dilfer who led the Baltimore Ravens win the Super Bowl against the New York Giants in 2001.  I think we can lose to a lesser extent than they can be in March. But no matter how you look now, owners will win.   We, the players in both leagues, only the destruction of the owners in the last two collective agreements,  said Dilfer, the 2008 retirement and now works for ESPN.
Dilfer remembers about the last contract extension, while in Lake Tahoe with Gene Upshaw, director of the Veteran Association of the NFL, he was a regular participant in the Tournament of Fame before his death in 2008. He said he could not believe how the union had done.
