A Busy Week Ahead

I ask for your prayers for a busy week this week for me. I have meetings with two different Habitat Partner Families regarding their materials selection for their new homes that TriState Habitat for Humanity will begin later this summer. We are trying hard to ramp up the number of houses we build each year and it looks like this year will be a pretty good year. It looks like we will finish about fifteen houses. That's pretty good considering that last year we completed only about six houses.
I also need to do ramp up some of my work in the area of family recruitment. I have some ideas that I want to implement but I don't know if they will work. One of the reasons that my position was created was to help the affiliate reach more families. I have been working hard on this but in some areas family recruitment has been painfully slow. I am hoping that by next year we will be able to build at least twenty houses. Of course, there are a lot of things that need to be in place for all of that to happen. So, I could use your prayers about this as well.
I am looking forward the week. It will be busy but I am so energized by my work that I enjoy going into the office each and every day. While there are some days that are really hard and I get frustrated, overall, I continue to believe that God has called me to this place at this time for this ministry.
I hope you have a great week. Thanks for your prayers and for being a part of my journey!
