Quick Flicks... A movie review (The King's Speech)
Want a movie that's mesmorizing and has great acting? Want a movie that satisfies your inner movie goer? The King's Speech does that and more, putting you in a state of pure awe and contentment. When you first see the movie poster you go "Oh man..." but trust me, this movie is NOT only for history buffs. Goeffery Rush and Colin Firth are able to pull off hilarious and outrageous speech therapy sesions in order to help cure Colin's characor (King George the 6th) of stuttering. The journey that King George had to go through was amazing, from past to present. He was humiliated by official doctors who told him smoking would relax his throught muscles and would help. He was forced to talk through a handful of marbles shoved into his mouth, only humiliating King Geoerge further. It takes the cockey Goeffery Rush for King George to relize he doesn't always stammer , he has a voice that can bring hope to a nation. Can this abstact team say a speech or will they be struck silent?
