It's been a good weekend for me. I got to relax, watch movies via my Netflix subscription, and spend some time with my family. Last night I went to a cookout at my sister Stacey and brother-in-law Rob's home. There were about 50 people there. It was a good evening of food, fellowship, and fireworks. Today I took my car into be worked on. It's been acting up lately and I was scared that it might be something serious and really expensive. The good news was that I was able to get my car in right away. They checked it out and didn't find anything wrong with it and didn't charge me anything. That was a relief. I am hoping that I don't have any more problems. After I picked up my car, I went over to Rob and Stacey's house again to have lunch and I got to play a few rounds of Uno.
This is going to be a short work week for me. I work just three days and then am off on Friday. My family is renting a cabin in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for the weekend. We will be headed down there on Friday and then I'm taking a few extra days next week. I am looking forward to the time off.
