I received one of those catalogues that get mailed out in a lot of communities from an area adult continuing education school. You probably have received something similar in the mail. They teach classes on everything from watercolors to website design, from landscaping to law enforcement training.
I started thumbing through the catalogue because I am considering taking an Excel class. I think it will help me in my work. I feel like I know just enough about Excel to be dangerous. I want to learn more because I know it is a wonderful tool that can help me in my work at Habitat for Humanity.
When I was thumbing through the catalogue, I flipped to a page with a description of a creative writing course. I read the description through a couple of times and looked at the dates for the class and am seriously thinking about enrolling. I love to write and I think a class like this would help me to be a better writer and allow me to receive feedback on my writing. I think it would help me to improve my skills in communicating through the written word. I also think it would be a good discipline for me.
I'm not sure yet. I want to pray about it some more but I am really feeling excited about the possibility of taking the course. It will cost some money but I feel as if it would be something that would help me to grow and something that will be fun to do. I will let you know what I decide to do.
My first day back to work went well. I had a ton of emails to read and some new applications to process. It was a busy day but I was glad to be back. Thanks for being a part of my journey!
